I can choose to see things in a new way that frees me from the past.
I now know that it’s not what happens in my life, but how I respond to it that gets me my results.
- Am I an automaton that reacts in prescribed, habitual ways?
- If I keep choosing to respond the way I have in the past will I keep getting the same results? Is this what I want?
- If I want to change my life must I change how I think about things?
- Am I a victim of life events, or can I change my viewpoint, so that my life experience can change?
It’s the recurring negative thoughts of my mind about what is happening that keeps me imprisoned in a ground hog day of recurring experiences. Until that is, I learn that it is me who is choosing the life I will experience.
The meaning I give to life events locks me into the same kinds of experience for a lifetime. When I keep giving the same meaning to things my life will continue to give me the same results.
Fear & Resistance
The key emotion that keeps you locked into recurring patterns is fear. Because you fear and resist having a similar negative experience in the future, you’ve unknowingly given yourself the negative suggestion that, ’bad’ things always happen to me. In this scenario you cast yourself as always having to be on the defensive to prevent such negative experiences again in the future.
Unwittingly you setup the negative attractive circumstances that narrows the bandwidth of energy you can allow yourself to experience.
Feeling too good, or too happy, causes you to feel anxious that you are vulnerable when you expect good things to happen. You must stay on guard against situations, or ‘others’ who will hurt, or take advantage of you.
Beliefs & Attitudes
Your belief systems and attitudes about life keep you locked into a prison of fear about life and what will happen next. This necessarily results in the need to control outcomes in the future, even though you know it will be the same fearful future as in the past. A fearful future that is the same seems preferential because it is familiar.
It’s a very nonsensical belief that creating the ‘same’ outcomes somehow is keeping you safe. Of course, a lot of this is orchestrated in the unconscious and below awareness until one day (hopefully), you experience enough fear and pain that it causes you to wake up and examine how you are living your life.
A major breakthrough can occur when you can stop blaming others and events outside of yourself long enough to begin considering that it is your own behavior that is creating your results.
Your beliefs and attitudes really are how you identify yourself. Your beliefs reflect your self image and self worth.
Do you believe yourself to be a person worthy of success and happiness in life? Is that how you see yourself?
This is the most important question you must answer in your life. How you identify yourself will determine the kind and quality of life you will experience. Until you find who you are to your self and how you identify yourself your life experience will operate automatically from subconscious programs.
Knowing who you are is the single greatest discovery you will ever make. After discovering who you are, and identifying the truth of yourself, you will be freed from living from the law of karmic patterns you inherited at your birth.
Your astrology chart is the blueprint of what you will experience in life.
Frequency of Choice
How you respond to your life experiences and the meaning you give to events to life experiences is up to you as a conscious human being. The more consciousness and awareness you bring to life experiences the more you are freed from acting habitually to events. Your awareness helps you to rise up the scale of frequencies and live from your highest potentials.
The frequency you choose to resonate from in life is your personal contribution to the collective frequency of humanity. The higher frequency energies carry much more weight for determining the collective frequency than the lower frequency energies.
Lower frequency energy is much more noisy and dissonant. While peaceful, high frequency energy gets less attention, but has far more amplitude for influencing collective outcomes for humanity. You must remember this.
- Are you willing to take the time to have a look at your cherished assumptions about life?
- Are you willing to even acknowledge that assumptions are operating when you ‘react’ to life events?
- Is it true that how you react is the ‘natural’ response to an event that anyone would have?
Disrupting a reaction and choosing instead to take a moment to look before reacting can help you see that you can choose a different response.
Can you get enough space from a reaction to ask yourself:
- “What kind of result will my reaction get me?”
- Then asking, “Is that the result I want?”
- Then asking, “What result do I want?”
Beginning to take your power to choose back from an automatic reactions can take time. Creating space to even begin to see there are alternative ways of seeing and behaving is a huge step to liberating your ‘free will’ from habitual perceptions and perspectives.
It is the liberation of your ‘free will’ that will bring you ongoing peace of mind.
The Freedom of Now
For the first time you may begin to experience NOW as it really is instead of your projected idea, or opinion, about what is happening. You see the truth, the fact, about what is happening rather than your idea about it.
Focusing on what you fear might happen can greatly undermine your taking effective action to help yourself, or anyone else. In this state, peace and happiness can be ephemeral and elusive. However, when you focus on the act of living and giving your complete awareness to the present moment, unencumbered by fear, or the to need control outcomes, you naturally experience peace and happiness.
States of Mind
Peace and happiness are inherent states of mind when fear is relinquished. Seeing things differently and having the ability to see other’s point of view becomes possible.
Your state of mind is your responsibility and you have the power to create heaven, or hell for yourself in life depending upon your state of mind and how you choose to see things.
Keeping your mind clean from darkness, opens you to seeing your life direction in each moment clearly. You’ll be able to see everything unfold perfectly before you. In the perfect way, at the perfect time. You no longer have to spend so much time figuring the means to achieve your objectives in life. Everything just flows naturally in the course of time.

What else can this mean?” These lessons will be published bi-weekly, so you will focus on each lesson for two weeks duration. Remind yourself about the day's lesson frequently throughout your day. You can write the lesson on post-it notes and place them around your house as a reminder. Notice when opportunities arise to put the lesson into practice. Take note of your response. Ask yourself if you want to experience peace of mind, or experience conflict? On going to bed before falling asleep remind yourself about the day's lesson. How did you choose to respond to life events and what did you learn.
