Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the stream
Merrily merrily, merrily, merrily
Life is but a dream…
Life as we knew it abruptly ended for everyone worldwide earlier this year.
I liken what has happened, and is transpiring, to being in a dream. You may see yourself walking into an elevator and, when the doors open, everything has changed. You may feel confused and wonder where you are and how much time has passed. Maybe it felt like only a few minutes had passed in your dream, yet, like Rip Van Winkle when you wake-up, your beard is long. You realize that what has transpired must have taken years while in your dream only a moment of time has passed.
Transformation Time Warp
Science Fiction or Not? Life has engineered the perfect storm of events that are operating like the proverbial ‘wormhole’ to effectively have us traveling at lightening speed to a new destination.
A wormhole (or Einstein–Rosen bridge or Einstein–Rosen wormhole) is a speculative structure that links two points in spacetime that are so different and so unlike that there is no basis for comparison. In short, a wormhole can be imagined as a tunnel that connects different locations, or different points in time, or both simultaneously.
In other words a wormhole gets you to your new destination quickly and shortens the duration of your trip.
Nature at Work
With the extraordinary events unfolding life is revealing its own agenda starkly and, by the look of it, there is swelling support for the resulting transformative changes occurring.
A poll published in late 2018 conducted by Yale University on Climate reported that more than 80 percent of registered U.S. voters supported the ‘Green New Deal’ that was being proposed at that time with 92 percent of Democrats and 64 percent of Republicans backing the ‘Green New Deal’ plan.
Now we’re getting the chance to step up to do just that. And, there seems to be no time to waste to make the necessary changes.
Grassroots movements that have worked tirelessly for years in the background are now front and center leading the way. Voices supporting global unity and environmental health are mounting.
Many examples of the dramatic changes being spawned abound. Even the events and protests of the 1960s-70s cannot rival the massive upheaval and changes that are taking place for everyone worldwide.
Organizations like Global Citizen with its commitment to end Extreme Poverty by 2030 are gaining momentum. Extreme global poverty has now been reduced by over a half from 2 billion to 1 billion in just the past 30 years. The first Global Citizen Festival happened in September 2012. They have not only brought awareness to end Extreme Poverty, but helped establish the connection between Extreme Poverty and issues like Education, Environmental Pollution and Disease. The resulting effect is truly transformative for bettering both human lives and the environmental health of our planet. The billions of dollars of funding needed for the Global Citizen Projects to end Extreme Poverty (and its inclusive positive impact) come largely from the commitment of Corporations and Governments worldwide. This is an astonishing achievement in just a few short years!
Support for initiatives to reduce emissions and reverse climate change ‘now’ is gaining massive support worldwide. There’s growing action by governments worldwide to rebuild economies that are green and renewable.
In example, just last week the U.S. Congress passed a massive climate friendly 1.5 trillion dollar infrastructure bill. The bill includes emissions reduction measures that emphasize trains, transit and electric vehicles. Transportation is by far the single biggest source of carbon emissions.
While Germany (Europe’s biggest economy) has announced plans to abandon nuclear power by 2022 and exit from coal by 2038. Sixty-five percent of Germany’s energy will come from renewables by 2030.
Transformation Essential Oils - The Ethers
Oils containing ether constituents can be used to support the transformation that is taking place at an individual level. Four of the oils in this chemical class show promising results in studies for their use in transformative care.
Annise Seed (Pimpinella anisum)
Well-known UK aromatherapist and educator, Penny Price recommends Annise as her #1 choice to use as an antimicrobial oil.
Studies have shown pharmacological prosperities of Annise oil as antimicrobial, anti-fungal, antiviral, antioxidant, and insecticidal effects.
The findings also revealed that aniseeds can cause gastric protection, contain muscle relaxant properties and support digestive health.
The study also showed Annise oil’s anticonvulsant effect and reduction in morphine dependence.
Where annise shows its most transformative effects is in diabetic patients. Annise oil has hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic effects and reduces lipid peroxidation (oxidation) and cell death.
Annise seed oil also showed beneficial effects on menstrual pain and menopausal hot flashes in women.
The study concluded, “The beneficial effects of Annise can lead to the development of new drugs in the future.”
Cinnamon Leaf (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)
A study entitled ‘Cinnamon Mystic Powers of a Minute Ingredient,’ showed that even a minuscule amount of Cinnamon oil activates diverse effects.
Statistical evidence showed Cinnamon oil’s positive effect for:
- Lowering glycemic levels in diabetics
- Limiting Alzheimer induced changes in the brain
- Improvement in HIV patients with Candida
- Promoting antioxidant effects for liver disorders
- Reducing anti-inflammatory effects in disease processes
- Reducing cell death from tumors
- Significant fall in blood pressure.
Rosemary Cineole - (Rosmarinus officinalis)
A review of studies concluded that Rosemary has a promising future in the medical field, “Especially in the treatment and prevention of various cancers, infectious diseases and increasingly emerging diseases such as depression, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases.”
Dill (Anethum graveolens)
A short 12-week trial on 24 test subjects for reducing Metabolic syndrome showed marked improvement in triglyceride levels.
Metabolic syndrome is an increasingly common condition - one-third of the U.S. adult population have it.
Markers of Metabolic syndrome include:
- High blood pressure
- High blood sugar
- Excess body fat around the waist
-
High cholesterol or triglyceride levels
The study noted that aggressive lifestyle changes can delay, or prevent development of serious health consequences.
