“I have had seborrheic dermatitis since I was about 18 and I am now age 35. Nothing has worked as well as the lemongrass. I wash my face with it, and also use it for taking showers and washing my hair, it keeps everything clean, and my skin is very clear so thank you so much.” - Virgil R., High Point, NC USA

A pleasant, fresh lemon aroma, Lemongrass oil has a regulating and tonic effect on your body, mind, spirit and emotions. It is excellent for renewal of your life energies on all levels.
The hydrodiffused Lemongrass oil from Haiti is sometimes referred to as West Indian Lemongrass.
It is distinctly different from the Cymbopogon Flexuosus type. Its aroma is finer and more pleasant with strong citronella notes thought not as sweet.
Unlike the East Indian variety of Lemongrass, it contains the chemical myrcene and slightly less citral, making it less of a potential irritant to the skin.
Myrcene is the terpene most frequently found in cannabis. It is strongly analgesic in its effect. Myrcene gives lemongrass its “earthy” smelling scent and musky notes.
Lemongrass is also high in the chemical constituent Citral which is a potent fat burner used in making medications for weight loss medications.
Citral has also been studied and shown effective for destroying Candida albicans.
Studies were conducted on the inhibitory effect of 12 essential oils on Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) Type-1 and -2. It was reported that essential oils show not only anti-bacterial and anti-fungal activity, but also antiviral activity. Studies concluded that lemongrass oil may be the most effective essential oil against HSV-1 infection. The antiviral effect of 12 essential oils, especially, lemongrass completely inhibited viral replication even at a low concentration of 0.1%.
Lemongrass essential oil has an affinity with the semiprecious stone Citrine. Citrine is called the “merchant’s stone.” Placing a crystal of citrine in the cash box helps the merchant attract income.
It not only helps you to attract wealth, but also helps you maintain a state of wealth!
Citrine is one of the two minerals on planet earth which is reputed to not hold and accumulate negative energy. But, rather dissipates and transmutes it.
Lemongrass oil is useful for releasing blockages on both physical and subtle levels.
Recent research indicates that Lemongrass oil has a sedating effect on the central nervous system.
Its vaso-dilating (expansive), anti-inflammatory, and sedative properties help relieve muscular aches and spasms. It can help promote regeneration and healing of soft tissue.
Lemongrass oil can be helpful for regulating excess oily skin, hair and scalp conditions like seborrhea, dandruff, and acne.
